​NEWSFLASH: Scottish Fire & Rescue has published guidance for the use of fireworks (downloadable file). Main points to take note of:

• It is illegal to set fireworks off in a public place;
• It is illegal to set fireworks off between 11pm and 7am.
• Hutchesontown 'hotspots' where the risk of an outbreak of fire is considered to be ‘significant’ based on incident history include Waterside Street, McNeil Street, Cumberland St, Wadell Court, and Commercial Court.
