From WRA ([email protected]) 11/09/2015
At Deafblind Scotland we are currently running a project called “Connect to Welfare Rights”, which is aiming to make welfare rights more accessible for deafblind and visually impaired adults. The project is being run in eleven local authorities including Glasgow.
Through the project we can:
· Provide welfare rights information in different formats
· Provide advice & support
· Assist with completing forms
· Carry out benefit checks
· Maximise income for people living with a sensory impairment
· Assist with any enquiries regarding equal access and your rights as a sensory impaired adult.
We are trying to raise awareness of the project within local communities and would be grateful if you could highlight this to the Hutchesontown Community Council. If anyone within your Community Council constituency requires assistance or if you would like any further information please contact myself or Helen Campbell on [email protected] or 0141 777 5828.
Kind Regards,
Chris Waite
